Minutes of the meeting held on the 8th September 2025

Chairman’s Report: The Chairman welcomed the members of the Public and thanked them for attending the meeting.
1451 Cllr Ingles tendered his resignation to the Council due to ill health; this was received with sadness as he has been a mainstay of the council for many years and has a wealth of knowledge which has been very much appreciated. The Council wish him well for the future and hope he will feel able to attend meetings as a member of the public in the future.
1452 The Clerk will advise the returning officer at West Lindsey and advertise the vacancy
1453 Public Participation: Mr. Dawson reported he had been regularly litter picking and it was decided that the clerk would request supplies from West Lindsey so that a village litter pick could be arranged in the New Year.
1454 Matters Arising: The Clerk had obtained paper copy from Nat West to enable the account to add the appropriate signatory to the Current Account.
A further letter had been sent to WLDC Planning Dept regarding the application for Gulham Fields Farm.
The Missing Village sign on Osgodby Road, Empty Salt Bins and Potholes had been all been reported by the clerk.
1455 Finance:
Payment made to S. Cade for Grass Cutting £180.00
Payment made for Room Rental £210.00
Clerks’ wages for the Year £350.00
1456. Matters reported to the Councillors. Cllr Schofield reported the road sign on the A46 is obscured by tree branches, this to be reported to the Highways Dept.
