1368 The Chairman commenced the meeting by welcoming the members of the public.
1369 Public Participation. Mr. Windle attended the meeting to ask the PC to support him over a planning issue regarding the noncompliance of the original planning application for a footpath outside his and neighbouring properties on Thornton Road.
By a majority vote it was decided the council would write to WLDC and Lincolnshire Highways
Mr. Cade wished to report that the strimmer needs to be found a new home as Mr Wakefield would be retiring in the near future. Cllr. Young agreed it could be stored at his property in the village.
1370 The minutes of the Meeting on the 3rd of July were approved and signed by the Chair.
1371 Matters Arising. Cllr. Schofield reported that the householder had strimmed the bank. The clerk had received notice that the Footpath on Folly Hill had been inspected and was not deemed to be in need of work at this time, however if it deteriorates further it should be reported. Approval for the footpath between Moor Road and the Church will be cleared in the near future.
1372 Finance: Approval given for payment to
S. Cade for Grass Cutting £240.00
C. R. Hansard for Petrol £58.00
Thornton le Moor PCC – donation £375.00
An increase for the donation was passed by a majority vote.
1373 Planning: There were no new planning applications to discuss.
1374 Matters reported to Councillors.
Salt Bins – the clerk would request 3 salt bins 1, North End Corner, 2, Thornton le Moor and a 3rd for the junction of Moor Road & Thornton Road.
Pot Holes on Moor Road and Thornton Road.
