Minutes of the Meeting 8th January 20189
Present: R. Winter (chairman) A. Schofield, B. Hancock, A. Inglis, M Burton & P Drury

1898 The meeting was opened by the Chairman followed by a minutes silence for Mr. Alan Keil in appreciation for work done in the village, Alan was instrumental in planting flowers and the purchase of seats for the village.
1899 Public Participation: reported ruts in the grass on Moor Road, and street light out on Folly Hill. (no 6)
1900 Matters Arising : Picnic Table at Thornton le Moor, Clr Drury suggested the furniture should be pressure washed and then be given a covering of Danish Oil as a preservative.
1901 Finance: The council approved and signed the Precept Claim Form.
Approved J Cade wages 22.50
M Burton Room Rent 150.00
1902 Planning: Application for houses on Moor Road were discussed and the clerk would forward the councillors concerns.

- Housing would obstruct the view of the church.
Matters reported – Pothole opposite the old chapel.
