Minutes of the Meeting   2nd July  2018

Present:               R. Winter (chairman)   A. Inglis, A. Schofield, P. Drury &  M Burton

Apologies:          James Young,  

4 members of the public.

1929       The meeting was opened by the Chairman who welcomed the members of the public..

1930       Public Participation:       Mr Cade reported he was watering the tree in the churchyard as it was suffering from the dry weather. Church Clock was not working – Jonathan Burton would look into it.  Reported tractors carrying slurry were making a mess through the village – the chairman declared an interest in this matter.

1931       Minutes of the meeting held on the 14th May  were approved and signed by the chairman.

1932       Matters Arising

                Clr. Schofield made comment that he thought the cost of grass cutting was expensive there was a discussion and it was agreed it would be placed on the agenda for the January meeting, all were in agreement that the church should be kept mown.

 

1933       Finance                  Payments made.

1934       Planning              The Clerk would comment on the application for houses on Thornton Road and convey the councils disappointment there had been no provision made by the applicants for a green space to be donated to the village as per the meeting held with the applicants previously               

 

1935       Members of the council were provided with copies of the code of conduct and the data protection policy.          

 

 

 

The meeting closed at 8.57pm
