November 2022 Minutes

Minutes of the Meeting held on the 7th November 2022

Present:  Cllr. B. Hancock (in the chair),  M. Burton, H. Davidson, T. Schofield, P. Drewery. Cllr. A. Inglis, J. Young

1327       The Chairman opened the meeting and welcomed the members of the public

1328       Public Participation.  No matters to report.

1329       The minutes of the previous meeting were approved and signed,

1330        Matters Arising.

 

            Church Lane hedges had been cut back by the tenant

            Cllr Burton reported that the electrician was due to visit to quote for supply to the 

Discussion regarding a tribute to Mrs Cade was discussed and Mr. Cade would talk with his son regarding their wishes.

Notice Boards were discussed and would be further investigated before the next meeting.

             The Chairman had not received any reply to her complaint to Anglian Water and would follow this up.

1331       Finance.

Payments made         S Cade for         Grass cutting                         £    180.00

M Wilkinson     Clerks Wages                              £     300.00
                         Stationary/phone etc.                           50.00

Estimate for Precept 2022/23    It was agreed to the estimate for the coming year would remain at £2,000.00 plus £450.00 for provisional costs regarding the May elections.

1332       Planning.               Notification received the application for Greenwood Farm had been withdrawn

                                                There were no objections from the Council for  The Old Vicarage.

Other business.

Reported               Street Light No 2 was not working

                                Salt Boxes are empty the clerk to contact the Highways dept. ref a supply for the village.
